I can't find the source for that quote. The digg page only links back to the Asus homepage, and entering that phrase on Google leads to a dead page and Digg. It's only been 3 months since the registration opened, so no one has taken six months yet. I'm not holding my breath, but I would like to see a more solid source.

KimoT, Like you I hope it isn't true but given all the comments around delays in the upgrade process it would be nice if someone from Asus would provide some concrete information around delivery.

It would not surprise me, I just would like to know the source of the quote in order to know how reliable it is.
