I have an ASUS ASN75SF that I really do like but the wifi receiver is truly awful. ASUS gave me a link to improve it but it made no difference.

My router is in another room with my main desktop from where all my other hardware can pick up a good signal all over the house from the router, but the ASN75SF will not obtain a signal from 6 metres away. If I take it into the actual room it will then actvate. A question I would ask the cleverest of you is this..... can I purchase a better well proven internal WiFi unit other than ASUS to replace it. If so any ideas?
