I dislike getting all of my driver's from the manufacturer website because most of the times they're really outdated.

So far my plans are to update the BIOS from the ASUS Website and download some other drivers when I start reformatting the W3J the moment I get it.

I will, however, be getting outside drivers for the VGA (from Omega), Touchpad (from Symantic), and Wireless Card (from Intel).

Would someone please recommend other places to download drivers? I heard the Gigabit LAN NIC was from Marvell is this true? Thanks!

First: outdated drivers doesn't mean they are worse (in some cases they are even better, and are tested to work with the system, and with newer there can be problems)
Second: Install only omegas based on 6.8 or 6.10 catalysts

And third: In most cases, excluding graphic card drivers (and motherboard) newer drivers are needed only when there is some problem...

    Agreed,
Just because the drivers are a few months or so old, doesn't mean that they are bad.
You don't really need to upgrade you drivers unless your having problems. Infact, unnecessary upgrading can cause more problems then it fixes.

ps the best place for drivers is the ASUS website, they are tested and work well. Although if your really really want to find newer drivers then check the websites for the specific manfacture of your specific piece of hardware in question. eg intel, synaptic etc
