I just noticed that the Asus K53-3D will ship with NVIDIA GTX 560M.

Has it been released yet? Where can I buy one? The Asus website has absolutely zero helpful information.

Also, is the display 1920x1080? thanks!

I'm not really interested in 3D functions, but it seems like this will be a relatively thin (1.4") and non-spaceship looking alternative to the G53

I went looking for this model and couldnt find it, just curious on where you found it at. The K series typically dont use a higher end card like the 560M. I'm sure a G53 w/ 560M and 3D screen will come along some time.

Maybe its a typo, Asus normally has their 3D models name "3DE" or it could be coming down the road with more info later

Yes, I read about it in the Anandtech article.

    Hope it's not a typo.

Looks like a much thinner and more understated form factor compared to the G53:

I think i solved the mystery. If you read AnandTech's article carefully it states:

"NVIDIA provided the following notebook photos from their partners, though not all of the notebooks feature the GTX 560M."

So yeah pretty sure the Asus K53 doesn't have the GTX560M, which is a shame.
