    Are we talking about a replacement internal burner, or an external?

    In either case, I tend to be a bit of a Pioneer fanboy... you have been warned. ;)

    First one I had was a slot loading Pioneer but the loading mechanism was too loud for me and I had to push it in 3/4s of the way in for it to grab, so I swapped it out for the Samsung and have not looked back. Pioneer does have a tray loading one which I saw had a lot of good comments but Newegg was out of stock when I had to ordered, so.
