I have a K52 laptop running W7 and everything is working fine. I am seriously thinking out of curiosity to download W8 Pro which I can do for about $70 Australian. The query is if I do and I am not happy with W8 or being an old guy find it hard to use would there be any touble reinstalling W7 using the DVD's I created when I first used the laptop.
All thoughts and ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

Arunta, Yes you should be able to reinstall W7 with the DVD's but I have read of a few situations where this did not work. As a secondary way to get back to W7 I would recommend D/L of Paragon 12 Free Backup Software: Paragon Backup & Recovery Free Edition - Overview and create an image to an external hard drive. Then to restore (if needed) you create a bootable CD or USB stick with the Paragon program, boot from it with the external drive connected + restore easily; and probably much faster.
