This is the first review of a US model that I've seen, but it's with the 1.7-GHz Pentium M 735. They also said it "weighs just 3 pounds without its power adapter." I've seen other reviews say it's 1.6kg, which would put it at about 3.5 lbs. Who knows...

I also saw this review a few weeks ago, but it's in Thai (I think), and probably for an Asian model. They have some nice pics though (of the black version).

Actually, maybe it's not a review of a US model since at the end, it mentions that it has a DVD burner [:I]

I just thought PC World was a US magazine/site...

    Jean,

Just so you know (sorry for not emailing back quicker).... I finished our little experiment with great success. One thing I forgot about the drives we had in mind were that there are only two drives of that size made in the world (guess which two)... Anyway, same maker, same series...... it was probably a good idea to make the faceplates identical.

Drop me an email tomorrow and I can explain.

    Thanks,
    Justin
