    Hi there,

I've been reading the forum for a while, it's been very helpful in making my mind up about what notebook to get so thanks to all.

Maybe this has been covered elsewhere but I couldn't find it, apologies if it has.

Does anyone know when the W3V is coming out in the UK? I am fuming with jealousy as you all seem to have them and I can't get one yet! In fact does anyone know who the asus UK resellers are, Asus may design nice notebooks but their website is terrible and I can't find anything on it.

thanks for any help you can give me

    Jeremy

    I bought my W3A on-line from:

    http://www.asuslaptop.co.uk/

It arrived one day later than they said, but other than that, they were fine (i.e. they sent the right machine).

When I was ordering my W3A a couple of weeks ago, the UK arm of Asus told me they hoping to bring the W3V to the UK within a two months. An Asus reseller told me the release date was "1 month" away. Based on that information - the release date is probably between 1 and 6 weeks away.

The W3V is now advertised in UK. See the last on the list at http://www.asuslaptop.co.uk/products.php?cat=39 (and the W3A prices have dropped).

Well I'm still waiting for my W3V to be delivered.

For all you North Americans complaining about FedEx how about this.... the carrier www.asuslaptop.co.uk use actually managed to lose the package and so another one is being sent out! Impressive huh?

However I've been very impressed with asuslaptop in sorting it all out and being polite and helpful throughout.
