Had a mishap and my nonprofit Business W3V is ca put and of course out of warranty. I believe it to be the motherboard. I figure this is getting old so there may be some parts out there or a W3 with a bad LCD screen.

Any idea where to search for cheap parts besides eBay? I got allocation for a new Laptop but thought a backup would be nice and I just love the W3V so hate to junk it.

Try contact Asus resellers and ask them about your issue. Also try call the Asus estore to see if they have the mobo part for purchase.

If I recall correctly, at time of demise it was over $350 for a new Motherboard. I was more looking for ideas on where to find used parts.
