I plan to use the W3V as a video player to play and I would like to be able to connect it to a TV without much loss of quality. My previous love interest (the HP dv1000) had an available media cable that plugged into it's productivity port, but the W3V has no such option. Does anybody know what sort of quality I would get if I used something like this:

    http://www.svideo.com/prosvideo12.html

It connects the S-Video to a regular RCA video and connects the headphone jack to RCA audio.

The W3V comes with its own S-video to RCA adpater cable. I also use a jack to RCA audio cable as well.

Xvids and DVD seems to play fine to my eyes, although I am not really known as a picky audio visual person.
