    Hi,
Just wondering what the typing experience is like on the w3v? Is there flex on the keyboard? Is it quiet? Anything that really bugs you about it? That sort of thing.

I type pretty fast and quite a bit so the keyboard is something I'm pretty concerned about.

Still trying to figure out what my first laptop will be but I'm leaning slightly towards the T43. But I like the overall slickness of the W3V.

Key board on the W3V is great. Only problem some people have with it is the placement of the Function key which is in the bottom left corner instead of the ctrl key.

I'm a professional writer, so the keyboard is my life until someone comes up with a decent voice recognition technology that *actually works*, and I absolutely love the W3 keyboard. It's the best laptop keyboard I've ever used (although I haven't ever played with an IBM, I will admit). Not as cool looking as a PowerBook keybaord, but every bit as good. Solid, no flex, and I haven't even had any letters rub off yet!
