    W3J Vs. S96J

    I've been debating for the longest time between the W3J and S96J notebooks, having ruled out the A8jm because of no extra bay and no bluetooth. After i looked at the reviews i noticed that the 14'' W3J only gets around 3 hours of battery life, i mean i know it has good hardware, but that isn't any better than its bigger counterparts?

    Edit: i just realized teh S96J has no extra bay or BT either...

    SUggestions on S96J or W3j?

    why would it be better than its big counterparts? remember if machines have the same internals they will use the same amount of energy. yeah the lcds are larger but one inch more lcd wont draw much more juice. its the internal parts that count. you cant get 3.5 hours out of a w3j with it underclocked cpu and gpu and the lcd brightness at half. This is pretty good. not to mention you can add another battery. and you can order the a8jm at portableone with a bluetooth module installed.

    Personally, I would recommend the W3J. I just received mine, and it is an awesome machine. I looks so nice and it is so powerful. Not only that, it is very quiet and runs very cool. The screen is very nice. It is the perfect size. Coming from a 17" screen, I thought the 14" would strain my eyes. But that is not the case. I love this screen. This is the perfect notebook. The 15" S96J would be too big to be called portable. 14" is the perfect notebook size. I'd say go for it. Its an excellent machine.

    If you ruled out A8Jm because of no BT and no extra modular bay, that would mean ruling out S96J too, because of the exact same problem.
