Since I received my W3J I've absolutely love it.

However, whenever i have a black background I'm noticing small spots on the screen that seem more reflective than the screen itself. I tired capturing them with a picture, but got too much reflection. Also I tried gently scrubbing with a microfiber cloth, but they wouldn't leave. If anyone has any idea what these could be or any advice on what I should do to remove them I would appreciate it.

    Thanks

Agreed - you see it most in flat colors like gray and dark blue. To flash to the 6.10 BIOS, use Winflash under "ASUS Utility" in the programs menu.

Don't want to thread hijack, but a quick question since we're talkin about BIOS

Just wondering, I flashed to the 2.09a beta BIOS earlier and everything is working great.....is there a need for me to flash to the 2.10 BIOS for merom support? Are there any other benefits or should I just leave it well enough alone?

    Thanks.

I'll try that new bios and see if it helps.

From what I've read, they're virtually identical. Both get a bad checksum on first boot and both fix the graininess. My guess is that 2.10 is just the released version of that Beta.
