I got the first batch of W2v's, the ones that Asus never really fixed. So right off the bat it never really worked right, read: iR remote, sound issues, tv tuner, annoying fan etc but I've learned to live with it.

Anyway, the CD drive is junk so I now have an extra slot in the computer and was wondering if I could plug another HD in it's place. If anyone is familiar with the board.

I've had my laptop undervolted a bit and it hovers at around 40*C with light load but I notice in Speedfan that the GPU is reading at 124*C. I took the cover off and it's really hot to the touch, is this normal? I never noticed this and I don't game much at all so it's not being stressed at all.

Also, it seems the aluminum is lifting off the chassis and I don't know if this is a common problem.
