    Hey guys,

Apologises if this is the wrong place for this, but I was thinking of selling my Asus W3J and can't find much info on what there going rate is these days.

Its nearly 2 years old now, still in near perfect condition. Haven't even taken some of the plastic guard off it yet!

Been used as my daily home machine, never really moved from my desk. Still has a few months left on its warranty.

    Spec is:
    Intel core duo T2400 @ 1.83ghz
    1 gig RAM
    100 gig HDD 5400rpm
    ATI X1600
    XP OS

Machine is in excellent condition, only "marks" are some fade on the left palm rest due to my wrist rubbing against it for the past 2 years, and that fade is only on the spec's sticker which I still have on the machine.

So, can anyone give me any info on its value?

    Thanks guys!

I used to own a W3J, maxed out config with T7200 2GB Ram 100GB 7200rpm drive, and the modular battery, i'm still mad at the fact I sold it becasue imo there hasn't been a better laptop come out of asus since the W3J.

I would guess if its in as good of shape as your describing probably around 500 dollars. Are you interested in selling it?

Just picked up a Dell XPS M1730. With that I can't really see any need in having two laptops.

I have loved this machine, couldn't really beat it for portability and performance. Plus I love the looks, Asus did a good job designing it.

Alas...I'm parting with my W3J in a few days. It's in near perfect condition (replaced the lcd bezel tonight) and upgraded with 2gb.

    A friend offered me $700.

I hope my Lenovo T61p will serve me as well as this laptop did....

Arvin I know how you feel... Part of me seriously wants to keep it. But I can't justify the need for having three laptops.

$700US sounds about right, might have to hit up Australia Ebay sometime soon...

My W3J is still holding strong. I don't see myself upgrading any time soon .. I just love this laptop.
