    I'm pretty close to ordering and have a few final questions.
    1. Does the V6J support a port replicator?

    2. No S video jack, is there any other way to connect to a projector other than VGA port?

    3. Current $100 rebate - Does anyone know why? Does this mean Asus is upgrading the V6J soon?

    4. Can the proceddor be upgraded when core 2 duo arrives?

    Any info would be appreciated.

    3. Not sure, the W5f also has it, doubt either will be upgraded. Perhaps they wanted to sell more? A promotion?
    4. On paper, shouldn't be hard nor difficult.

    Thanks for the info. I planned on using this in work and must have a port replicator. Any suggestions as to what to buy, I liked the styling of the V6J, but must have the replicator.

    You can get a USB port replicator for $80-$100 by Targus or Kensington. Usually office or electronics stores have them, or just surf around for one. I personally also thought I would need a dock, I had one on my old laptop and it was a godsend, but after 6 weeks or so with this computer, it isn't as necessary as I thought.

    the video on the universal replicators is worthless - look at reviews - they are mostly unusable

    and for many of us a docking station or port replicator WITH decent video - is a must
