Does anyone know of a site or thread where I could see these two screens? I realize that photos can't convey the full effect of the screens, but maybe I can get a better idea of the difference between the two. I'm having a hard time deciding whether to buy the V6Va or V6j. It's coming down to the IPS vs. Core Duo + Go 7400.

    Thanks!

Unless you want core duo or are into gaming, get the V6va - IPS is on a different level.

I think there was a thread a while back...I'll see if I can find it.

EDIT: Looks like the pics are dead in that thread. Looking back at the comments, they weren't the best anyway I guess.

The V6va is superior in every way BUT the processor, so, your choice.

The V6Va comes with the ati X700 which is superior to the nvidia 7400. It is better than the V6J at gaming. The V6J on the other hand has newer technology (core duo & expresscard) hence more future proof than the V6Va.

I just got an e-mail from da boss. I'll get reimbursed about 80% of what I spend for my notebook. Since I plan to use it for writing big documents, developing simulations, minor gaming at most, the superior screen is probably the wiser choice: V6Va!

    Thanks for your comments!
