    The V1JP looks perfect for me and I am very close to buying one. However, I would love to get it with Santa Rosa. Any idea when that will happen? If the consensus is that it will by more than four to six months then I might have to go for it sooner than later. I have not followed Asus too long so I'm not sure how quick they are with such things.

    If not the V1JP can anyone recommend an equivalent laptop with an available docking station (lan, monitor, usb ports, Firewire if not already on the laptop)?

    Please do a search... This is the 10th time ive answered this in like 3 days. It depends which Asus reseller you speak to but the general consensus is that it will be announced mid June, Specs are not deffinate but the UK pre production model had a 8600GT. Hopefully we will see it by early july.
