    Is it possible to upgrade an 8600m gs in a S96S? Say maybe to a 8600m gt or a 9600m gt? thanks

    The standard answer is "no", see Info BoothFAQ // item "Can my GPU be upgraded".

    In isolated cases and with some work it could be doable, but it depends on many factors (mentioned in the item that I pointed to above).
