Hey guys, I was just wondering if I could buy a screen made for another notebook that is 15.4" will fit on my G1s? I'm just trying to confirm a rumor that I heard about saying that not all 15.4" notebooks are the same size :S

And if they will fit, I was wondering if the retailers are selling individual screens :D I want, if possible, a WUXGA screen for 1080p xD

Any screen change for the G1 would have to be aftermarket, usually purchased from a LCD seller (there are a couple of those out there).

It's possible that BTOTech might be able to do something like this as Eddie's group does a fairly big repair business for Asus notebooks, but you would need to contact him directly. I'm pretty sure that they don't sell just the LCD, but again you would need to discuss directly with him.

That's what I was thinking, but I'm not sure if they'll fit :S
I guess I'll e-mail a few retailers to see what they say about it, thanks for an idea
