Just last night I noticed a drastic decrease in graphic performance when loading up TF2. Benched with 3DMark06 and my score went from 4000-ish a few months ago to around 3000 now.

Loading GPUz gave me a memory speed of 400MHz (800MHz) and a pixel fill rate of: 3.4 GPixel/s which is half the normal 800MHz (1600MHz) / 6.8GPixel/s. I monitored temps and clockspeeds during a few runs of 3DMark and the GPU stays under 65C with a regular 430Mhz core but the memory never goes over 400MHz.

I re-installed windows to no avail, nVidia's newest drivers, drivers from the ASUS CD all give me the same result.

Anyone have an idea why the system would halve memory speed like that? Any utilities work with the M50VM-A1 so I can bring my memory clocks back to reg. speed?

    Thanks.

Not sure about your problem too much, but are you on power saver mode in Windows?
