So basically I'm limited to Best Buy since that is where I got my giftcard for christmas, and I'm a very indecisive person when it comes to gadgets. I keep getting mixed reviews on this particular laptop. I chose the Sony, but I'm thinking of returning it for this model.

Some things that are holding me back is, the build quality (it might last me when it's new but how about after a years worth of use during college)

and the speed, I main use for my laptop is listening to music, word processing and every now and then light video editing (making slideshows for family using Studio 11), Now my current Hp I have which has 4gb memory, and a 2.1 dual core AMD processor with nividia struggled. But the reviews on Best Buys website, states that this model is actually really fast for having a 1.3 processor. So what's your experience on that? Because even if it's a tad bit slower then the Sony VPCCW17FX that I have, I don't mind because the battery life is what's turning me on.

last is screen resolution? how good is it, because some reviews say it's incredible, and others say it's horrible.

Thanks for your opinions in advanced!!!!
