    Ughh Amazon

    So I ordered my ul30vt-a1 with overnight shipping with a guarantee that it will be here tomorrow. All is good I get my confirmation and all is good. 5 or 6 hours later I go to check the status on it and it says my account doesn't exist. I call up amazon right away and they say my account is on hold! She also said she can't view whether or not the order went through. So now I have no idea if its even going to make it here tomorrow much less at all! My account was charged a dollar from Amazon too. My family seems to think it might just be a standard procedure to check my account, but will I have it tomorrow or not?! Also, I received no email stating that my account had been closed much less any indication that they were doing this. Can someone please enlighten me? Anyone else been through this? I really hope I get it tomorrow because I leave for a snowboarding trip Wednesday at 4 A.M. Sure I will probably receive that shipping free now but I won't have the computer for a week or 2!

    Don't hold your breath.
    Why do you need it for a snowboarding trip???
    Don't you know that laptops don't make good snowboards. :p

    The one dollar is a hold not a charge. This is done for account verification prior to the charge. Since they do not charge until shipped you may not see this charge until the order is fullfilled. Your account maybe placed on hold until then to prevent excess charges from Amazon until fulfillment and verification.

    Again other issues may prevail preventing the order, for now I would guess it is a wait and see...............
