Hi there, first of all sorry if my English is quiet bad :p

I bought an UX32 2 weeks ago, since day 1 I've checked my battery wear, originally it was around 1.5% but now is like >4.4%... I've also noticed that it increased (like 0.5%) after a SHORT session of light gaming (low settings for less than 90 minutes).
I thought I've done a calibration 1 week ago, but Battery Care keep saying "Calibrations done:0", so I assume I did it wrong, am I correct ? Should I do it again ?

I've read that battery wear between 1% and 5% is normal for new laptops, but the increasing rate scares me to death, what can I do ?
    Any advice is appreciated.

You mention calibration, does your notebook have a calibration utility, is it in windows or the bios?

When you buy a new notebook the battery might have been made months or even a year or two ago and the cell begin to age and loose capacity called wear.

You dont know what wear your battery has until you have done a clibration or two, i charge the battery to 100% and then use the notebook until you get the low battery warrning and then boot into the bios or run memtest86+ to till the notebook turns off, and then i leave the notebook for 30mins so the battery can cool down a bit and then i fully charge the battery fully with the notebook turned off.

My last two notebooks were showing 7% wear when i first got them, but after calibration it went to 0% , but the wear level can go up or down.

Nope, no tool at all. I tried by myself, probably failing in it (i didn't run out the battery under 5%)
However I was kinda aware of what calibration is, I'll do another one today or tomorrow. My main concern was about increasing rate, is that a matter of calibration too ?

    Thank you very much again!

Not sure about the calibration issue, but it's a good idea to let the battery drain completely every so often before a recharge.

If you put more load on the battery, and the wear on it looks too drastic, contact Asus. It could be a bad battery pack.

i got my UX32VD since july, and battery wear went from 0% to 1% wear recently. then one night i forgot to plug it in and had it run overnight, went out of power and wouldnt power on (i turned off hibernation) and when i plug it in again and turn it on wear jumped to 5%

but after a few days of regular use the wear level goes back to 1%

i use hwmonitor to check wear level
