UX32VD - Expresscache Expired?

Ever since we bought this laptop Ive thought that it was really slow. It said boot in 6sec or something like that, but it was never close. I never really looked at it much because my gf always needed it for her school.

Today I was trying to figure out how to get widi working because that doesnt work either. Looking if there were driver updates I noticed it wanted to install expresscache but kept failing. Didnt know what that was so I googled it and it says thats the speed boot program. So thinking thats why my laptop was so slow I tried to install again. No luck. So I uninstalled it, then did the app install again and this time it worked. However opening the application I saw that nothing was actually caching.
Did some more googling and read that it needed an extra driver installed 'Rapid Storage Technology' So I installed that. Still, nothing seemed to be happening.

Then I tried a cmd line to see if that could tell me something

C:\Program Files\Diskeeper Corporation\ExpressCache
ECCmd.exe -INFO

It says the product is expired! One of the key advertised features of this laptop was that it boots fast, But the app the allows it to boot fast is only for 1yr?! thats messed up.
Any way to re-enable this? or do I need to buy the program or something? I couldnt find any link on disckeeper that shows where to buy it or renew it,
