Hey guys. I saw this in the U30JC discussion thread, but I can't be bothered scanning through 180 pages to find the post that said it, and the search function couldn't find it.

Basically, I've got the "display driver has stopped responding and has recovered" balloon coming up for the Intel drivers whenever I log in, and it slows boot up down a whole lot. I've upgraded both Intel and Nvidia drivers to the most recent according to the Asus site (And Windows Update in the case of Intel). I think updating the Nvidia drivers set off the problem too, but reinstalling both of them had no effect.

I remember there being talk of a bios update fixing this issue. Can anyone confirm? Flashing ROM chips kind of gives me an awkward feeling, so I want to make sure before I update it. I also don't have my USB at the moment, so it will have to wait a couple of days before I do.

Other than this small issue, gosh I'm in love with this notebook.
