The Asus N81J i7 laptop.

Title is Wrong, its the N61J. Its dark in here and I don't know how to type numbers heh.

I just got one of these about a week ago:

It is truely the best laptop I have ever used. Minues the Hitachi HD there isn't anything about it I would change. After removing M$'s office and putting open office on it of course.

It is fast, comfortable and largely child proof. The screen is hard plastic, yet crystal clear, the keyboard is embedded, much like on a mac, so the keys wont get yanked off easily. The feel is easy to type on. The touch pad is amazing. The speakers are crystal clear.

I just wanted to share that with you all. I was so impressed with this laptop.

One thing to keep in mind is I have been in the computer industry for over 10 years. I have sold laptops for compaq, and dell, and a local retailer called pc laptops (horrid place to work for) yet they have nothing, even their 5,000 dollar laptop isn't as nice as this one.

Asus did an exceptional job with this laptop!

 

That is the N61J. You just got me super excited, because if you look around on the ASUS forums, there's a thread by me which kept track of the N81 refresh for a long time now, and right now I'm still eagerly awaiting the release.
