    brother i had the same problem... now heres a few things i need to
    know before i can help u overcome this...
    bios version plz upgrade to 203a
    operating system if u want full centrino technology plz use winxp with
    sp2 that way its very up to date and the asus support disc's cpu fix
    is useless since sp2 will already have a new updated version
    2ndly... use the newest version of powergear and set right click that
    sob icon den make sure auto performance is not checked... and den
    edit the cpu settings urself according to preference...
    after all this has been done i'm positive ur issue will be solved

    its rock stable atleast in my epinion
