I have a problem with my A8jm. Whenever i start my laptop in battery saving mode it freezes and takes about 15 minutes to boot up. I understand that the CPU runs at a lower clock at this mode and at start-up it takes a lot of resources but i unchecked almost everything in MSCONFIG to see if it would help and still nothing.... Anyone else have this issue?

Is this on a default install and all ASUS default drivers from the CD?

Try taking out the Power4Gear AutoStartup option, reboot and see if it still does it... Just trying to eliminate P4G as the source of problems

Hmm... does it do the same thing if you boot up in safe mode or just in normal mode?
