Hi guys, the speaker volume on my laptop is too low, even though everything is set at maximum. Even when using earphones, the volume is too low. Sorry if this has been posted before, but please do help me with this. Thanks!

check your speaker volume in BIOS. it might be that they are set to a low number.

To enter the BIOS, keep tapping the F2 key when you're booting up the notebook. There should be an option for your bios volume control.

Thanks, I've set the volume to a maximum of 8. I'm not sure if there's much of a difference though. Volume is still too low. Is this a common problem of Asus laptops?

you need to go into the Realtec Audio Manager and click on the Loudness EQ. This will boost the sound levels to better levels. The BIOS sound is for the BIOS beeps and such. That does not control sound levels once the OS is booted.

yo guys. the speaker volume in the bios only changes the sound for the initial post sound. the sound we hear when asus logo is displayed.
i think the sound quality of the laptops are poor.
