    Spare Battery for F8SA-X2

    Greetings - my F8SA should arrive on MON or TUE. I have conducted a search here, and on Google - but I can't find an on-line source for a spare battery (calling ASUS is out of the question from where I work). Does anyone know of a reliable source? Thanks in advance...

    Did you check the ASUS eStore? Also some of the ASUS resellers might help you.

    E.B.E - Thank you for the info - I had no idea ASUS had an eStore. Interestingly they have lots of batteries (at fair prices - unlike H-P) including the Eee PC -but none for the F8. I sent ExcaliberPC an e-mail - hopefully they will respond.

    Doesn't the F8 series use the exact same battery as the A8/C90?

    Yeah, I was wondering something similar, probably the batt is common with one of the other models and that's why it's not listed as such.

    Well I don't know how sure D3X is about his A8 suggestion. I'm sure one of the resellers will know for sure if the A8 batteries work.

    According to the review video of the F8SV-B1 on BTOtech.com 's website, then the A8 and also one other Asus model used the same battery as the F8. I can't remember what the other model was off the top of my head, but if someone wanted to check it out, it's on the front page of there website.

    f8 is the same as a8 battery. c90 is completely different
