I've been looking all over for a new laptop to get for college next summer. I've even posted on the main board, but I've narrowed it down to Asus. However, I'm not quite sure which one.

I really like the ASUS U35JC, however the lack of an disk drive kind of kills it.

Right now, I'm strongly considering the U45. I really like the battery life, and it looks like a nice size for a college student. So does this look like a good fit? Are there any others I should look at?

BTW, I'm looking for atleast an i3, 4gb of ram, and 500gb hd. Also a good battery life.
