    I (back)ordered mine on friday and I'm itching for some sweet sweet asus lovin'. Any clue as to when they will be in stock that's a little more precise than "till july"?

    Did it dawn on your to perhaps ask someone over there before you bought it? Don't want to sound like a wise ass, but come on, that is the most obvious answer. There is no shortage on them in the US if that's what you're really asking.

    no, they didnt know when they were getting them in, and i was wondering if the situation had changed since friday (which i know is only a few days, but this is a replacement for a dead desktop, and what i'm using in the meantime is a real monster at 1.6 ghz celeron, and 128mb RAM.) I have a lot of photoshop projects to work on for people, and honestly i'm just itching to get my new toy.

    While we're talking about the S96j, Are the prices going to drop as we move closer to the Core duo 2 comeing out? Is there any point in me waiting for a price drop, or should I just buy now?
