    Hey guys, I've seen that there is a few knowledgeable users of the S96 laptop on this forum and Im looking for a replacement battery for my laptop. I wanted to know which other batteries for other models would work with my s96j?

    I heard the battery from the z62f works for some people.

    Any other models? What would be the best place that also ships to Canada? There is a few 'canadian websites' but they dont have batteries for my s96 so I thought I would buy the z62f battery but Im not sure if it'll work. Which places have the best prices?

    Almost every newer 14,1"+ S and Z series barebone uses the same battery, so they will probably fit.
    A colleage of mine had to file down some extremities of the Z62 battery to make it fit a S96.

    Hmmm...thanks. My idea was to just look the for the S96 battery online, see which other models is also supports and then search for the battery for the other model since it should work vice versa right? As in the battery for the S96 can also be used in so and so and the battery for so and so can also be used in a S96?

    Any other input would be appreciated,hopefully someone who has a S96 with a replacement battery can help me
