Are there any buffing liquids or polishes that could be used to remove the faint scratches/marks that add up on the outer case - particularly the top flap (behind the LCD)???

I take my laptop to school everyday and these scratches are likely to increase...

LOL, I have to ask why you would purchase such a powerful gaming machine to be portable...any way its not my place to judge.

I think using any hardware store scratch remover or buffing liquid for hard plastics would be your best bet. I am quite sure there are no products available for laptops. If there are please tell me, because my F3sv seems to have gotten quite scratched up on the lid in the back.

Be carefull, many notebooks have a casis which has a layer of lacquer that you might remove by trying to get rid of these scratches.
    You might make things worse.

Get a laptop sleeve or slim case where you can put it in where every you move it (use it also if you put the notebook in a backpack or anything like that).

    Hi guys,

Thanks for the advice. Anyone else know of any solutions?

'Round here in Canada, a 15.4" is quite the norm in terms of university note-taking. I don't consider the G1S a "gaming laptop" per se, but a powerful workstation with gaming capabilities. It's no surprise that there are far superior gaming machines out there....and I wouldn't want to bring THOSE to school!
