Whenever I try to access the sound manager so I can edit environmental effects I get these errors messages

    "EQ Initial Fail!!!"

    and then

    "EAccessviolation"

I've updated the audio codec to no avail; anyone else have any ideas?

    Edit:

    I have an ASUS W3j
