Hey, I just bought a W3V but haven't received it yet. I'm looking to put in an extra stick of ram and I was wondering what kind of ram Asus puts in there. I know its DDR2 512, but I was wondering if it was 400 or 533 mhz. Thanks in advance.

That is interesting. The one that I got in my W3V is 400Mhz I believe, I didn't open the keyboard to check but that's written on the original packing and I saw that ram rating in cpu-z too. (Later I added another 512MB stick that's rated at 533Mhz, this one shows its correct speed in cpu-z so I guess cpu-z didn't mis-read the first stick)

The original ram is a hynix but I don't remember where I got the information from (maybe I saw that in cpu-z again).

I bought my W3V in Taiwan thou, not sure if the hardware configs vary from place to place.
