My new Z70va should be arriving early next week, and i was wondering what all i should look to install/update when i get it.
i know that i should install all of the stock drivers as well as the ATI Catalyst, but what else would i be smart to install to increase performance/battery life/reduce noise/etc?
    thanks in advance.

Most people tend to install NHC to undervolt their CPUs to increase battery life and decrease heat.

Speedfan is also a good program to install to control the CPU fan speed to reduce noise... I don't know the link by heart, but just google "Speedfan" and you'll find it for sure.

EDIT: coriolis beat me to it ...grr
