    Hi!

I would like to know your impressions on those items:

    1. Noise
    2. Temperature
    3. Keyboard quality (noise)
    4. Screen quality (brightness, viewing angles and color accuracy)
    4. Linux compatibility

    Thank you.

Noise: the fans are noticeable in a quite room, but they are certainly not loud or particularly annoying. Having the setting on Quite Office decreases the fan noise too.

    Temperature:
At room temperature (24C) and at idle
    CPU 40C
    GPU 50C
    HDD 41C
    L. palm rest 36C
    R. palm rest 31C
    Avg keyboard temp 28C
Bottom of notebook avg in low 30s ranging from 31C to 38C

keyboard: very quite, but suffers from keyboard lag in Vista. This can be solved by disabling the touchpad from the bios (touchpad will still work in windows). XP doesn't have this issue.

Screen: decent vertical viewing angles, above average horizontal, very good brightness with excellent contrast, no light leakage.

Linux: can't really say, because I don't use Linux... :(
