If you own a W3v/ same design layout..
    Fn+F1 - Hibernate
    Fn+F4 - Hibernate
    Power button - Shut down

As you can see both F1 and F4 keys do the same function. I've browsed thru windows power options but there are no additional options for power down.

What i want would be to have

    Fn+F1 - Hibernate
    Fn+f4 - Standby
    Power button - Shut down

How do i have Fn+F4 to do a standby while F1 and power button continue to do their purpose.?

    Please advice.

If you use the Asus hotkey manager, you can assign a shortcut to the command:
    Code:
    SHUTDOWN -s -t 01

what pictures do you see on your F1 and F4 keys?
mine (Z63a) show F1: Zz (standby) and F4: harddrive symbol + Zz (hibernate).
i think only F1 can be assigned something different using Windows Power Options and they call it the Sleep Button.

the easiest way to have all those options is to just change the setting in Control Panel > Power Options > Advanced...

set "When I press the sleep button on my computer:" to "Stand by" on the drop down menu.

the menu above is probably already set to "Shut down".

    so you'll have
    Fn+F1: Stand by
    Fn+F4: Hibernate
    Power Button: Shut Down

rather than Fn+F4 for stand by.
