Well I decided to pull the trigger now rather than later.

I have a feeling there will be another price increase and there is always something better just around the corner.

Hopefully it will be here by the beginning of next week.

I think I've had mine for two weeks now. I bought mine right before the price jumped up (at newegg). I'm extremely happy with it. It's a little bulkier than I would have liked and the keys should light up but I think that's all the negatives I have to say about it (outside of nitpicks). I should have gotten the A2 with the BluRay drive but I liked the 500 gigs of storage (no I probably wont fill it up ever).

This is my first laptop and my first Vista experience. Would rather have had the option to get Vista Ultimate but I can upgrade anytime I guess. I'm really liking Vista except where MS has made the OS harder to navigate than in the past.

You should really like it Dazman. Mine took about 4 days to arrive and I was just excited and antsy the whole time. I also picked up some games for it. Gears of War (have it for 360 but have been wanting to play that extra chapter), The Witcher (PAL Import), Crysis, Shadowrun, and it came with Alone in the Dark. Also installed Wow and picked up a 60 day card (can't wait to play that when I get some time).

How long do you expect the Asus to last?
