I recently purchased an A6ja and it's great however I am having one slight problem. When the screen is switched off by the power saving i cannot get it to come back on again, the external monitor i have connected to the vga port is switched back on but the laptop's own monitor is not. Any help would be appreciated as this issue is quite annoying. Thanks in advance - Ben

It doesn't work. I just had the same problem with a V6J a few minutes ago. I solved it by hibernating & resuming :) No time to investigate further now.

It might be related to CoolBits for nVidia ForceWare, I've just installed the reg entries today and I believe that yesterday the problem was not present.

Edit: the last para obviously in my case, the A6Ja seems to have ATI x1600...

Nope nothing at all works, I haven't yet had time to test if i still have the problem without the external monitor attached. I've just disabled turning the screen off at least when the laptop is on AC power, any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Seems the problem only seems to happen when the external monitor is connected, though i've only tested it once.
