Hi, I just recently installed Vista on my ASUS UL50VT laptop, only to find out that ASUS doesn't seem to support vista drivers for it (the only options on the driver page are XP and 7 32/64.) Despite that, I went ahead and attempted to install a few of the XP drivers (the 7 drivers wouldn't work at all) and luckily, the chipset, Lan, and wireless drivers all installed and seem to work perfectly. The NVIDIA VGA driver on the other hand... it won't even attempt to install after it sees that I'm not running one of the supported operating systems. To make matters worse, because this laptop uses that Nvidia/Intel hybrid graphics system, it seems like you're pretty much forced to use the driver from the ASUS page, and nothing else -- at least to my knowledge.

Since I can't find a vista version of this driver from the manufacturer, and the G210M driver from Nvidia's site won't install either (I guess because this laptop uses the hybrid version), is there something I can do to bypass the OS restriction and force install the XP version on Vista? Or anything else I can try? I don't have any other OS keys right now, and I prefer Vista over XP as it reminds me of 7, so I really want to get this to work. The default VGA driver is really slow and choppy so It's barely even useable in it's current state.

If any of you guys can help me out, I'd really appreciate it.

(By the way, I found this thread ( Hybrid Graphics Master Set Drivers - Nautis1100 Hybrid and Optimus Drivers - LaptopVideo2Go Forums I was searching that looked to have the solution to my problem, but the page doesn't have the links anymore. Do any of you happen to know where I can find these custom drivers?)

Try getting the Intel driver first from Ultrabook, SmartPhone, Laptop, Desktop, Server, & Embedded– Intel.
Once the Intel driver is installed, then you can proceed to install Nvidia driver.
