I rebuilt my hard drive about a week ago on my V6j. I am using the stock computer with added RAM, and I used the Asus CDs to install Windows. If I pute the computer into standby with a program running, or with bluetooth on, the computer doesn't go into standby, it just turns the screen of and keeps it off. The only thing I can do to get the computer working again is to hold the powerbutton down and force it to turn off. Does anyone have any ideas about what to do to fix this, or why this would happen? Thanks.

On my v6j, using the asus power program I was having issues with standby not too different than yours. I switched to nhc and haven't had a problem since.
