Well I ordered my computer (ASUS G50Vt-X2) the Sunday before Christmas and it arrived at my house Monday. The kicker? I left for Tampa, Florida the Sunday before it arrived. I am here in Tampa, Florida for the Outback Bowl (Iowa Hawkeyes vs. South Carolina Gamecocks) so I can watch the Hawkeyes destroy the Gamecocks. [GO HAWKS!] But anyway the anticipation of getting home is just absolutely killing me because I want to open up my UPS shipment and start crying at the beauty of the laptop. =D Just wanted to see if anyone has any.... anything that will make the time pass faster =) And no I will not take a heavy 1 1/2 day sedative.

I think we've all been there before :) Hmmm... things to make time pass faster? Try going out for a movie, dinner, or drinks with family/friends. Stop by a barnes and noble store, grab a few magazines/books and just chill at the starbucks there (I do that very often ;) ). Maybe reading a few G50 reviews on the forum may help too? :p

Oh trust me I think I have read every single review on the internet. I would just like to declare here and now; I'm obsessed. Yea I am here with family and I will need a book for the 5 hour plane ride back to sunny Southern California so the barnes and noble sounds like a good idea =D Thanks!

Any other suggestions? Formulas for time machines?

Well you can sleep more... It has two good side effects... One you get more rest... Two you get to dream about that nice new notebook waiting for you to break it in! :p You can dream prepair for everything you want to do on it and how much you will love it...

If that fails, than just daydream about it! lol

If you've read all the reviews, you can always download the manuals from the Asus website and read them cover to cover :p

potentv I quite honestly feel sorry for you. Although you should feel good knowing if I was in your situation, people would've been going to my funeral rather than a new years eve party. I'm going to try to stay undesperate enough so I don't end up reading the manual before I even see the computer, who reads manuals anywayz!?

You could read the disassemble guide... that's always more fun than the manual~!
