    Picked up a W2PB today

    My w2pb showed up a day early from Newegg today. This sure is one handsome notebook!

    So far everything is working great and the 1920x1200 display doesn't have any dead/stuck pixels or anything like that. I'll be installing Vista Ultimate 64-bit on this sucker come Monday.

    In the mean time, I've just been playing around with the HD-DVD drive and it performs quite well.

    Here are a couple of screenshots. This first one confirms that the Toshiba drive is compatible with my HD-DVD backup program (see doom9 for details):

    And finally a shot of the feature playing. CPU temps are a bit high @ 70 degrees. CPU utilization is pretty decent @ 60% or so. Idle CPU temps are in the low 50's.
