aha..i came to know the fact: there's no integrated PCMCIA port..

so..Is there any way I can put a 3G card inside the 1000H? I mean the card will not stick out like pen-drives or USB modems. Is it possible to put it inside like an integrated one..?

You will most likely have to stick with an USB based broadband card.

lol same answer on eeeuser.com but from a different person.

There are some mod happy people that have put a small 3g unit inside already I think they used the cameras usb connection.

Also news that Asus plans to integrate 3g into the EEE at some point I saw somewhere.

I would create a cool mod for it but I simply am not going to pay for 3g service when almost everywhere I go has free wi-fi and at home I have fiber optic service.

I took my EEE to dinner last night with my family and sure enough 2 networks popped up and one was called ALEXXX something and we were eating at Tampa Alehouse, even bars have Wi-Fi around here. Plus I noticed MC Donalds sign "Free Wifi Inside" the other day, kinda made me sick lol. Why the heck do you need wifi in MC Donalds... I would never touch my precious EEE or have it anywhere within the vicinity of mc donalds food.

*** Note you may try looking outside the box and use your 3G cell phone as a modem via bluetooth.
