    Maybe a stupid question, but:

    What exactly is an open box laptop? Does that mean it only comes with certain things or does it mean that somone opened it and returned it?

    Well that sucks, It was $950 and limited to two(2) per person. Now it's gone :(

    Open box items from newegg are usually customer returns. Newegg cites that these units usually don't come with any accessories, documentation or the original retail packaging.

    I ordered an open box Asus G1S from newegg and it came with all accessories a new one would have including carrying case and optical mouse but YMMV
