    Hello,
I have an Asus u30jc and for a while now I have not been able to use the Geforce 310m graphics. The driver stopped working, so I uninstalled just the driver and tried reinstalling. I get the message "could not find compatible graphics hardware". I tried various versions, new and old but no such luck. I considered phoning Asus tech support but I have the feeling they will not be of much help. If anyone could help me out it would be appreciated.

On the official Nvidia Optimus page, Nvidia Geforce 310m is also listed under 2 Toshiba Satellites (one of the Toshiba Satellite drivers can be found here (32bit)).

Which versions of the driver did you try? Did you download the driver direct from the ASUS website for that model or are you downloading it from NVidia? I usually recommend the driver released by ASUS since it has been tested fro compatibility. If the driver doesn't work, it could point to a hardware problem as well, at which point you would want to contact ASUS tech support to see what your options are.
