    hi folks,

I did a dual boot setup in my Asus C90s(32 bit and 64 bit vista ultimate). Now the problem is I am not able to get the exact VGA driver for my graphics card(32 bit).

it came preinstalled with the 64 bit vista ultimate and the asus setup cd is scratched big time so unable to use that now. I had a look at the Asus website at download section see if they would have the exact driver for the graphics cad, but there is a general one available there and after installing that I am not able to use the graphics card to its full capacity.. e.g. with that I cant get the windows switcher to work the way it should. I get a xp style switcher view and it doesnt mix up with windows aero as well. I cant get Nview options like I can on 64 bit.

Would anyone have the VGA driver for Nvidia 8600 GT for asus c90s. May be upload somewhere or get a link. tried different posts but no luck.

    thanks....

is it safe to install a modified driver. From what i know (Correct me if I am wrong) One will need to modify the inf file to install the Video card. Does that effect the performance of system?

    thanks

How is the Asus C90? I am planning on getting it because of the low price, upgradability and my planned use for 3D content-creation stills (3DSMax, ZBrush, modo, C4D, etc).

Please check the reviews and/or owner lounge and multiple C90 threads around this forum.

Note that GPU upgradeability for C90 is more marketing myth than reality. :) So actually the main advantage is the desktop CPU. Also note there is a refresh coming soon (i think).
